It was a bit of a surprise to find out; we've been able to work round
it for what we're doing by moving towards the middle of the track until
back inside the mask.<br>

Yes, that's the expected behaviour. The track gets terminated just
after it's left the mask. I can see that this may not always be
desirable/expected. I could potentially change it do terminate just
inside the mask, if that is something that people need?
