Hi Nyoman,<div><br></div><div>The only reason there wasn't Mac support till now is that the required versions of the GTK dependencies weren't readily available for this platform till recently. Now that they can be installed relatively easily, any new code written for Unix/Linux should work just as well on Mac - in fact, Macs are Unix systems at heart, so it's probably easier to maintain compatibility with that platform than with the Windows platform (only other issue being keyboard shortcuts - Macs do like to be different...). </div>
<div><br></div><div>So I can't think of any reason why we would decide to drop Mac support. That said, the development is all done on GNU/Linux, so there is the possibility of bugs specific to the Mac version appearing in a release version - but then, as long as someone reports the problem, we'll do our best to provide a fix for it, so it should only be a transient problem.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div><br></div><div>Donald. </div><div><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 24 February 2012 14:32, Nyoman Kurniawan <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:nyoman.kurniawan@cai.uq.edu.au">nyoman.kurniawan@cai.uq.edu.au</a>></span> wrote:<br>
