<div dir="ltr">Hi Ralf,<div><br></div><div>I'm assuming all other commands work ok? Assuming that's the case, yes an OpenGL issue is the most likely culprit. You should be able to check the version detected by running mrview with the -debug option - you need at least version 3.3 for things to run properly. I'm surprised you get a frank segfault though, I thought I'd added some checks for that...</div><div><br></div><div>In any case, if you have a NVIDIA card, you will need to install the proprietary NVIDIA drivers, which should be a simple process on Ubuntu using their 'hardware drivers' application. I think the open-source (nouveau) drivers do work on slightly older hardware with the very latest versions (which aren't in Ubuntu 14.04 - available in Arch Linux though), but in general your best bet performance-wise will probably always be the proprietary ones. </div><div><br></div><div>Let us know whether that fixes it.</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers,<br></div><div>Donald.</div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 22 October 2014 13:17, Luetzkendorf, Ralf <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:Ralf.Luetzkendorf@med.ovgu.de" target="_blank">Ralf.Luetzkendorf@med.ovgu.de</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">Hi MRTrix Community.<br>

<br>
I only use Ubuntu for MRTrix 3.0.<br>
Do I have to install nvidia drivers manually?<br>
