fMRI studies use behavioral software tools to control and monitor brain activity by presenting task stimuli and recording subjects' behavioral and physiological responses. The CIGAL software program demonstrates a simple flexible approach to task stimulus programming, while simultaneously collecting multiple different input data streams. This raises general questions of how to store such data and how to fully integrate behavioral data into existing fMRI image analysis procedures. A model XML-based data format will be presented.
