I'm having a problem where I've recently installed MIPAV (v5.3.4) and JIST but when I try to open the JIST layout function the screen opens but with the pull-down menu and the actual layout building field collapsed and inaccessible. What am I doing incorrectly? I installed JIST through a TOADS/CRUISE jar file. 

I also have a screenshot if this description of what's going on doesn't make sense...
