Olof,
From your description of the problem, it seems the installation
of BRAINS2 was successful. Let us deal with the 2 error messages you saw.

Warning: brains2 configuration file (/home/olof lindberg/brains2.rc) not found

This "Warning" may be safely ignored. Brains2 allows users to customize region-of-interest (roi)
names and colors by creating a .brains2rc file in their home directory. Brains2 will always load
the system default file /opt/brains2/bin/brains2rc (I do not know the filename in cygwin). The
absence of a customized file in your home directory is alright. Browse the system default brains2rc
for ideas what may be customized, and how to do so.

Unable to open pipe to filter No filter found.
    Module: /home/vince/development/brans2/scr/iplkernel/bkrwImage.cxx

The heart of this error is "No filter found". This indicates that the image you're trying to
load into BRAINS2 is not a recognized file type. BRAINS2 will go through its list of image
reading filters and ask each one if it can read the file. If all the filters report "Failure",
then you will see this error. The second line is only useful to the programmers. It is the
original path to the source code for the module that had an error.
