[Brains-users] hippocampus segmentation

Dear all,

regarding the manual segmentation of the hippocampus we are not quite 
sure if the part of the brain which is marked by the arrow in the 
picture below is part of the hippocampus or not. Using the T1 and T2 
images brains2 qualifies the matter as grey - so it seems not to be 
CSF (as assumed by our neuroradiologist). However, the hippocampus 
then gets an additional (small) part which is usually not shown in 
the atlases.

We would really like to resolve this propblem before starting the 
extensive analysis of the sample. So any hint would be great!
