I assume you tried  'rpm -U --force' to over-ride the library conflicts.
After all, your newer libs should be backwards compatible for a while.

We do not have a FedoraCore build of any recent vintage.
The rpm in question was built June 4th of 2005 ( -20050604- ).
I think some of the dependency tests have been repaired to test for >= $version
rather than == $version.  One of these is more likely to work than the antique
FedoraCore3 rpm.
If you cannot get a RHEL4.x_32 rpm to install,

Then you may need to download the source code and build your own:
