Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well and Camino is working as well for you as it does for us... For those of you that don't know me, I'm a camino developer who has recently returned to the fold and will be spending some time taking care of the code and looking at ways we can improve things. In this spirit, I was wondering if I could do a quick poll on the use of trajfiles in the diffusion simulation. If you don't know what a trajfile is and don't use the simulation then please disregard this email.

We're proposing to make some changes to the trajfile format to make them easier to use with matlab. The new format would be similar to the current one, but with everything stored as doubles (or floats) instead of what we have now, which also contains ints. I'd like to know if this would affect you and your camino scripts. Right now we don't have a clear impression of how many people make use of trajfiles and how much (if any) other code is dependent on their formatting.

If you do use trajfiles and have a view on this, I'd be grateful if you could let me know by relying to this email. If I end up making any changes, I'll email the list again to give as much warning as possible.

Many thanks,

Matt.
