Hi Daniel,

Kiran already pushed me in the right direction. If I use the default parameters for the searchradius and density the results look fine. But I still don't understand why the parameters I used before did not work :) I think I got them from your tutorial page for multi fiber reconstruction.

Maybe spherical harmonic q-ball is not sensitive enough on your data to pick out multiple directions.  You could try using sfplot to generate a picture of the full ODFs to check whether they appear to have multiple peaks that sfpeaks is missing for some reason.
