Hi,
It's possible but requires an assumption that you can map the tensor shape to uncertainty. In my opinion, probabilistic tracking using either the Bayes-Dirac method or the wild bootstrap is preferable because it derives the uncertainty with reference to the original DWI data, which has more information than the tensor itself.
