Hi,

I think the closest thing we have in print is probably this forthcoming MICCAI paper:

Machine learning based compartment models with permeability for white matter microstructure imaging
Gemma Nedjati-Gilani , Centre for Medical Image Computing, UCL, London, United Kingdom
Torben Schneider , NMR Research Unit, Dept. of Neuroinflammation, Institute of Neurology, UCL, London, United Kingdom
Matt Hall , Centre for Medical Image Computing, UCL, London, United Kingdom
Claudia Wheeler-kingshott , NMR Research Unit, Dept. of Neuroinflammation, Institute of Neurology, UCL, London, United Kingdom
Daniel Alexander , Centre for Medical Image Computing, University College London, London, United Kingdom

We are working on translating it into a journal paper in due course, but I'm sure the first author would be happy to share a pdf of the MICCAI paper.

Hello.

I have a question regarding permeability in Monte Carlo simulations.

In the reference paper ["convergence and parameter choice for monte-carlo simulations of Diff. MRI" (Hall, Alexander, 2009)]
it is estated that permeability is not considered although implemented. In the camino implementation the permeability can be controlled with the appropriate parameter.

My question is, do you have any published information about the way permeability is implemented? or where you perform experiments with it?

Thanks in advance

Andres M
