To whom it may concerns,
I have a question regarding the final parametrization of the tracts
obtained as output of the "track" command of Camino. I implemented the
4th-order runge-kutta algoritm from diffusion tensor data: the
interpolation was set as linear.
In the website is reported that the tract is computed in each directions
from the seed point, but then I was wondering how the fiber is
parametrized. That is, which of the two extremities is considered as the
origin and what is the rationale under the choice?
For example, is the origin point of a callosal fiber the right or the left
extremity? How the choice is made?
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Stefano Zappala'.
