HI Marina,
I just had a quick look at the FSL doc for qboot, and it seems capable of
outputting the SH coefficients of the ODFs. If this is the case, it should
be possible to feed these images through to streamtrack. The issue will be
to ensure that the SH coefficients are in the correct order for MRtrix, and
that they are scaled appropriately. The best place to look at these issues
on the MRtrix side is the MR::DWI::SH::value() functions, in the file
src/dwi/SH.cpp, this will tell you precisely what convention MRtrix
assumes. Unfortunately, the SH basis used in MRtrix is not orthonormal,
there is a missing sqrt(2) factor for the m!=0 terms (sorry - too late to
fix by the time we noticed). I'm guessing that it would be a simple matter
of scaling these coefficients, and potentially re-ordering them, to convert
between the two packages. Unfortunately, I don't have time to devote to
this, so you'd have to figure it out and code it yourself...
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Donald.
