[Mrtrix-discussion] Basics: FA of a .tck file

Hi Tyler,

I'm not sure this is exactly what you want to do, but the simplest thing is
to create a mask image from the tracks and read the FA values within the
mask. A command for this might look like:

$ tracks2prob yourtracks.tck -template fa.mif - | threshold - -abs 5 - |
mrstats fa.mif -mask -

This will give you the average FA within those voxels that have been
visitied by more than 5 tracks.
