[Mrtrix-discussion] Sreamtrack error

Hi Matteo,

OK, 2GB is probably the limit in a 32-bit environment since file offsets
will typically be stored using signed integers. Under 32-bit Linux this
(usually) isn't an issue since these are actually stored using 64-bit
quantities (at least if the kernel support large files, which is the case
on any modern Linux distribution). My guess is the compiler used to build
MRtrix on Windows still uses a 32-bit integer for file offsets... It's
unfortunately not possible at this stage to provide a 64-bit build on
Windows due to the difficulties in getting working GTK dependencies - Ben
Jeurissen will probably tell you more about it if you're interested. All I
can recommend is trying the Linux or MacOS version...

Sorry I can't be more help.
Cheers,

Donald.
