[Mrtrix-discussion] confused with install on ubuntu 12.04.

Hi Markus,

I'm not involved in the NeuroDebian package, but I think the default
installation they provide will put only MRView in your path - the other
commands are there, but you'll need to tell the system where they are
(/usr/lib/mrtrix/bin as far as I can tell). I just found out that typing
"man mrtrix" should give you some ideas about how to do this.

Briefly, you'll either need to put the mrtrix location in your path:

>  echo "export PATH=/usr/lib/mrtrix/bin:$PATH" >> ~/.bashrc

at which point all MRtrix commands will be available (once you start a new
terminal session, that is).

Or you'll need to invoke each command using its absolute path, e.g.

> /usr/lib/mrtrix/bin/mrconvert ...
