From anup.bidesi at sydney.edu.au Mon May 15 20:57:00 2017 From: anup.bidesi at sydney.edu.au (Anup Bidesi) Date: Tue, 16 May 2017 03:57:00 +0000 Subject: [W2mhs-commits] W2MHS error upon segmentation in Matlab Message-ID: <10B091D9A71B4147A5ABF22C73CF8BAE518AC821@ex-mbx-pro-06> Dear W2MHS group list, I am testing W2MHS tool using SPM12 on Linux OS ( Ubuntu) to segment WMHyperintensities. Upon running the tool withT1 and FLAIR input scans: at Matlab command prompt see below ( see run status as below: Done segmenting subject : SVtest_op_SV_wmh using RF Regression method Post processing and cleaning up the segmented outputs of subject : SVtest_op_SV_wmh and then Matlab crashes see dump file attached in the 2nd one (Abnormal termination: Floating point exception). I have taken SPM12 updates (r6906) and spm12_mexglx updates as well. Wonder what could be causing this error below: Abnormal termination: Floating point exception Register State (from fault): RAX = 0000000000000011 RBX = 00007f57ed032680 RCX = 0000000000000000 RDX = 0000000000000000 RSP = 00007f59ce389290 RBP = 00007f59ce389550 RSI = 00007f59ce389360 RDI = 00007f59ce389320 R8 = 0000000000000000 R9 = 00007f57e92b65c0 R10 = 0000000000000000 R11 = 00007f59dd2af672 R12 = 00007f57e923fa20 R13 = 00000000000005bb R14 = 00007f59ce3893c0 R15 = 0000000000000001 RIP = 00007f59ab93d1fe EFL = 0000000000010246 CS = 0033 FS = 0000 GS = 0000 Stack Trace (from fault): [ 0] 0x00007f59ab93d1fe /usr/local/MATLAB/R2014a/bin/glnxa64/libmwmathelem.so+03068414 [ 1] 0x00007f59ab9411c2 /usr/local/MATLAB/R2014a/bin/glnxa64/libmwmathelem.so+03084738 [ 2] 0x00007f59ab94150b /usr/local/MATLAB/R2014a/bin/glnxa64/libmwmathelem.so+03085579 [ 3] 0x00007f59ab941677 /usr/local/MATLAB/R2014a/bin/glnxa64/libmwmathelem.so+03085943 and so on until [ 97] 0x00007f59e1b0b28f /usr/local/MATLAB/R2014a/bin/glnxa64/libmwmcr.so+00344719 [ 98] 0x00007f59e0ab9184 /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0+00033156 [ 99] 0x00007f59e07e637d /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6+01024893 clone+00000109 Is this is a Matlab issue or some files within SPM12 updates have to be cleared ?
