| Ratings/Long-term Prospects Comments: | I think for accuracy of group averaging that FreeSurfer is your best bet. However, it is not for the computer illiterate. I would find it very difficult to navigate FreeSurfer without having someone who has used it before me show me what I need to do. That said, the FreeSurfer mailing list is an excellent resource as is the mail archive. Another great benefit of FreeSurfer is that it is very easy to automate many processing streams. If you know what you are doing, you can save a lot of time. I would definitely recommend FreeSurfer but I would qualify that you should find an experienced user before you try to surf on your own. |
