Questionnaire Recoding Inconsistencies

Hello! I am running into a problem in which I don't know which HBN questionnaires were already recoded because the data dictionary is not consistent with how the original questionnaire is scored. For example, in the official Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ) manual, half of the items correspond to 0 = No and 1 = Yes, and the other half correspond to 1 = No and 0 = Yes. In the HBN SCQ data dictionary, each response is 0 = No and 1 = Yes, for both positively and negatively framed questions. However, I haven't found documentation on whether these were re-coded, in which case we don't know which items flipped direction, or if this is an error in the data dictionary. Hoping someone can clarify! Thanks

RE: Questionnaire Recoding Inconsistencies

Hi, are you referring to the data dictionary dowloaded from the HBN website/LORIS: https://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/ind... Please note that, for Release 11, the coding of some data dictionaries was fixed: https://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/ind...
