Hi,
I am currently conducting a study investigating predictive processing under naturalistic paradigms, and I am in the process of manually annotating the movie features of the HBN data.
I was wondering if the movie clips used in HBN’s naturalistic movie-watching fMRI sessions are currently available. If not, could you kindly advise if there are alternative ways to access them with permission, such as through email contact?
Thank you so much for your assistance and for organizing such a valuable dataset!
Hi you can find links to the clips here:

Hi,
Thank you so much for responding so quickly! But I am sorry that the title of this post might be a bit misleading. I am trying to find out if the movie clips used during naturalistic fMRI scanning are available now. From what I've read in the papers, these clips include a 10-minute segment from Despicable Me and a 3-minute 20-second short film called The Present.
Do the movie clips used in fMRI scanning session start at the same timepoint as the clips listed above (i.e., the ones used in the EEG studeis)?
Thank you again for your help!
Oh, here is a bit more info on the Despicable Me clip:

They show you exactly the DVD that was used and precisely at what point in the movie the video started playing.
If I read this correctly "The Present" clip linked from the EEG page is the same as what was used for the fMRI protocol. It's the full clip right to 3:23 when the credits start. Maybe I'm wrong? I am not with HBN I'm just a user like you! You can always try emailing them.
Hi,
Thank you so much for sharing this information and the link to the MRI protocol page! These are very helpful!
I’ll definitely take a closer look at the resources you provided, and if needed, I will email HBN team for more information. Thank you again in directing me to the right direction! :)
Hi, thank you for your question, can you please send an email to CMIDataUsage@childmind.org with the details of your request? Thanks!
