Tool/Resource: JIST: Java Image Science Toolkit

We are thrilled to announce our first release of web-based documentation for both developers and end users. Our API is published using standard JavaDoc technology and may be accessed from the “JavaDoc API” in the NITRC left menu. Our algorithm/module documentation is also automatically generated from source-code meta-data and is available in under “Module (Algorithm) Doc” on the NITRC left menu. Both can be regenerated using the newest head release by using “ant all” and “ant javadoc” with the newest build script in the JIST project.

To our users: Please let us know what you think of this system. Comments, suggestions, etc, are welcome.

To our developers: Please look at the documentation for your code and see if you can improve it. Remember --- this is generated from the source code, so the information that you code will be accessible on-line, at run-time, AND from the command interface. It's worth doing well!

Thanks all!
