Produce Outputs with a fixed number of vert.
Hello,
I am trying to use the toolbox in order to have one to one correspondence between vertices in a set of meshes. I would like to know however if it is possible to define a fixed number of vertices in the final output.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Produce Outputs with a fixed number of vert.
Hi Roger,
There is indeed a way to determine the number of vertices of the final PDM. The final mesh is created from the spherical harmonic description via icosahedral subdivision. The number of subdivisions will determine the number of vertices, and thus you dont have total control on what number of vertices to choose (see http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles...).
More about this here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3062073/
I hope that helps.
Let us know.

Thanks! I would like to ask if each output has the same number of
vertices as the rest of the outputs?

Yes. As far as the same number of subdivisions are used for all the
samples in the cohort.
