we have two groups (healthy/patients) and we want to look at if the group A has increased connectivity respsect to group B. We set the design matrix as :

However, we don't understand how to set the contrast parameter, because when set on [1 0] it seems to display all the possible edges between the 56 nodes. Instead, when using [1 -1] it display no significant result. Note that we are using the FDR method .

We are wondering which contrast specification is correct.
