Cyberball design during fMRI
Hi all,
I want to run the Cyberball task in the scanner under two conditions.
In a few studies I looked at:
The duration of each round of Cyberball is ~2 min, and consisted of ~60 ball tosses total. In addition, there is ~ 16 s preceding the game with the word "connecting" on a blank screen, and 16 s of rest time following the game's conclusion. During the exclusion round, the two computerized players stopped throwing the ball to the participant after the participant had received a total of 10 throws (i.e., after a total of 30 throws including those of the other players).
How you model the inclusion and exclusion? 2 min block inclusion, 1 min block inclusion, 1 min block exclusion? I feel it is a long time, not taking into account habituation...

RE: Cyberball design during fMRI
Hi,
I have the same question about the cyberball task, how did you solve it?
