bias field correction with N3
I hope to do bias field correction with N3 method on the T1 brain
MRI images. It looks hard for me to install and use N3 directly
from their website:
http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/software/N3... Can anyone give me some instructions? I use windows, but I can access Linux server.
I wonder is there any software with easier user interface? And how do you usually correct the bias field with N3, or with other methods?
Thanks.
Natalie

RE: bias field correction with N3
Hi Natalie,
Installation of the MINC tools under windows is typically done via
cygwin, but this approach is not as well supported as under linux. If
you run a debian/ubuntu based system you can get pre-built binary
packages here:
packages.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/
Let me know if you need some more help.
