The latest issue of Nature Methods has a research highlight on the standardized brain atlas framework Waxholm Space (WHS) and its first prototype implementation, which integrates three major community resources as atlas hubs. The article was motivated by a recent paper, a perspective article highlighting the Waxholm Space and its supporting data integration framework, published in the journal PLoS Computational Biology (link) in February this year.
