After a worldwide search initiated early this summer, the INCF Governing Board has appointed Dr. Sean Hill from the Brain Mind Institute in Lausanne, Switzerland as the next INCF Executive Director. He will assume the position starting January 2011. 

Dr. Hill has a distinguished background in neuroinformatics, in both Europe and the US. He has previously worked for The Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, California; for IBM at the T.J. Watson Research Center in New York; for the Zürich Research Laboratory, and since 2008 has been at the Brain Mind Institute, EPFL in Lausanne.
