This year's NIF Hackathon will take place on July 25-26 in Atkinson Hall (3rd Floor) at the University of California, San Diego. On both days the meeting will begin at 8:30am and conclude at 5:30pm. We will provide breakfast, lunch and refreshments (with lots of coffee) for all attending. Please fill out the Hackathon registration form and add any additional projects you would like to hack on. The current topics include:

- Registering and indexing your resource within NIF

- Using the NIF Web services to access and search the NIF collection of resources

- Text mining pipeline for resource indexing

- Building new NIF data services/functions

- NIFSTD ontology updates
