some question about Multimodal Meta-Analysis
Hi,
We have read your excellent multimodal meta-analysis paper (Radua et al., Neuropsychopharmacology, 2014; Radua et al., Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews, 2012). Now we are performing a multimodal meta-analysis using AES-SDM. But we do not know how to perform the Assessment of Publication Bias and Heterogeneity and jackknife analysis in the multimodal meta-analysis, although we know how to conduct them in the separate meta-analysis. We did not find any output file about the Heterogeneity in the multimodal meta-analysis step. Also, we have no idea about how to extract the effect size to make the funnel plots and Egger test using the multimodal meta-analysis result. Would you please be so kind to tell us how to conduct these analyses?
Thank you very much in advance!
My best wishes,
Daisy

RE: some question about Multimodal Meta-Analysis
Dear Daisy,
please note that the multimodal meta-analysis only represents, indeed, an overlap of the significant findings of the two separate meta-analyses. I would thus suggest conducting the complementary analyses in the separate meta-analyses.
