In December 2013, Professor Colin Ingram, Director of the Institute of Neuroscience, Newcastle University passed away suddenly.

To celebrate his scientific legacy there will be a one-day symposium on Thursday 24th July 2014 at Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. External and local speakers representing neuroendocrinology and affective disorders, translational neuroscience and neuroinformatics, the research fields in which Colin had strong interests, will discuss recent advances in these fields and reflect on Colin’s inspirational and important contribution to neuroscience. More details and full programme to follow shortly.

There will be a memorial service on the evening of Wednesday, 23rd of July, more details to follow.
