Although there has been quite good progress in implementing the desirable core functionality for mgui, as of today - the proposed deadline for the release of the beta version - there still remains a number of key features which either have outstanding issues, or have not yet been implemented (see link). Thus, we have pushed the release deadline forward to 28 Feb, 2010. However, we will soon (by the end of this week) release the most recent version of the code base as an alpha binary release; thus interested users can make use of the existing functionality, and participate in the development of the beta version if desired.
