JIST install failed
Hi,
I just download the JIST-Vandy-2010Jun03-02-19PM.jar and the newest MIPAV. MIPAV give the mssage "No plugins were installed, please select valid mipav plugin files." when I tried to install it. The system I used is win7 ultimate. Is there something wrong?

best,
Hua

RE: JIST install failed
Sorry for the delay. It looks like my last post was lost.

MIPAV does not always detect the installed plugins upon first install. Please try restarting MIPAV and see if the plugins were detected under the plugins menus.

RE: JIST install failed
Hi Bennett,

MIPAV refuses to install the plugin, no matter how many times I tried. And all other versions of JIST can't be installed too.

Hua

Hi Bennett,

It seems your respond was missing again. I also have encountered same problem and recorded the error log:

I didn't find LICENSE file under C:\Users\hugh\mipav\plugins\, or on the web (e.g. MIPAV official site). any idea? Thanks!

RE: JIST install failed
Are you sure that you are using MIPAV 5.3.0 or a newer nightly? I believe that MIPAV has a bug unwrapping the LICENSE file with no extension. We have to include this file in our jar due to legal requireements of our libaries...

Anyway, a work-around is to use "jar xvf " to unpack the contents of the jar and them move all these files to your "/mipav/plugins/" directory.
