Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Biomag2010 conference to be held March 28 - April 1, 2010 in Dubrovnik, one of the world most beautiful cities of culture and history. It is a real jewel on the Adriatic cost and will be, together with our venue, Valamar Lacroma Resort Congress Center, a superb setting for our scientific and social activities.

Please check regularly http://www.biomag2010.org for updates.

The on-line pre-registration and personal account registration is open and will allow to all interested in attending the Biomag2010 to join our mailing list and/or to send us the updated affiliation and contact details. Please note that personal account registration is mandatory for abstract submission and abstract editing, paper
submission, registration fee payment and hotel reservation aswell as for the submission of researchers’ initiated proposals for symposia and workshops.

A preliminary Program Schedule at a Glance is posted on http://www.biomag2010.org as well as the guidelines for the Call for Biomag2010 Symposia and Workshops and Application for Approval of Satellite Events.

Please, feel free to share this e-mail with colleagues in your department and encourage them to attend the Biomag2010 in Dubrovnik. Also, we would appreciate if you would forward this message to email lists that you have access to and/or post the link to http://www.biomag2010.org on societies’ or institutional/companies’ web sites.

We are happy and proud to invite you to join us on April 1, 2010 in celebrating 40th Anniversary of the first publication of the SQUID-based biomagnetic measurements in which Cohen, Edelsack and Zimmerman suggested "medical uses of SQUIDs".
We see it as a great opportunity not only to look back on the workof the pioneers of our field and significant advances achieved during the last four decades but also to look forward to what
seems to be a very promising future of emerging combined SQUID and low-field MRI technologies.

Scientific Program Committee and the Local OrganizingCommittee will be working hard in the months in front of us to prepare adequate program structure and quality content to blend research, clinical, educational, organizational and social
aspects of the Biomag2010 conference into an exciting and pleasant harmony.

We are looking very much forward to hosting you in Dubrovnik during the Biomag2010 and some of its satellite events. Post-conference, Easter holiday break in and around Dubrovnik will be a real treat and we encourage you to consider it as well.

See you in Dubrovnik next spring!

With best regards,
