BrainNet Viewer - Map algorithm: which one to choose for plotting activation data?

Hello,

I plotted afni z-statistics (exctracted with 3dClusterize so thresholded) for different contrasts in BrainNet Viewer.  I get very different results depending on the map algorithm I use. Reading the Plos One article and the manual, I did not find any specific suggestions on which map to use, a part that the "Nearest Voxel" map was suggested for masks or atlases..

When I use the (I think default) 'Interpolate' map, I get this result (e.g. for one contrast):

For the same contrast, if I use map "Nearest voxel":

And If I use "gaussian":

..

Which algorithm map is more appropriate to plot thresholded z-stats of simple whole-brain activation analyses?

Thanks a lot in advance,
