odd slice timing problem
I am currently working with a resting-state data set and I am
attempting to do the preprocessing in FSL. The header information
for the files does not display any timing or slice acquisition
information, but we were told the data was odd interleaved. I
have found that when running multiple slice-timing orders (none,
regular descending, odd interleaved) that the plots for the time
series at a single voxel are very similar and for some subjects
identical for different slice timings. The files do run in FSL
without error, however. It is only when examining the time series
at a single voxel across different slice timing orders following
preprocessing that something seems off with the data. I then
attempted to preprocess the same data set using SPM and the realign
estimate and reslice step fails and states to "please check that
header information is OK" and "there is not enough overlap in the
images to obtain a solution". When checking the images under check
reg in SPM there doesn't appear to be any misalignment between
diffferent volumes. Does this sound like bad header information?
Can anyone lend any insight into this issue?
Thanks
