I'm running ubuntu maverick and the file libgfortran.so.1 is reported as missing when I run GenParaMesh.

gcc-4.1 is being phased out and as a result this library is old and not included in newer distributions. Could you possibly publish a version compiled with a newer version of gcc so that this problem is not present?
