SDM for purely image-based meta-analysis (DTI)
Dear experts,
I am working on a purely image-based DTI meta-analysis (no coordinate-based data will be included!). From my understanding, SDM was build to summarize studies with coordinate-based results OR to combine the results of studies with coordinate-based AND image-based results.
Is it still sensible to use SDM to summarize the results from studies when only image-based results are available? Or will I be loosing power while not using the full potential available when working with image-based results (e.g. in comparison with other meta-analysis approaches)?
I am very much looking forward for your response!
Greetings from Germany,
Anna
