BTW, the detrending and the highpass are redundant, but since I release the data as filtered and non-filtered, I just filtered the already detrended signals.

But the part about the functional hetereogeniety of the AAL atlas, and the interaction with eigenvector stuff is valid (I think, but I reserve the right to be wrong about this as well).
