Are you sure that you are using MIPAV 5.3.0 or a newer nightly? I
believe that MIPAV has a bug unwrapping the LICENSE file with no
extension. We have to include this file in our jar due to legal
requireements of our libaries...
Anyway, a work-around is to use "jar xvf " to unpack the contents of the jar and them move all these files to your "/mipav/plugins/" directory.
