Nice to know that others are using nVidia cards :-)   Yes, I can confirm at 
least at second hand that there are speed issues when using the nVidia 
drivers.   Given some time, I would personally like to look into (and 
hopefully resolve) this issue because in all other respects the nVidia 
appears to be a nice graphics subsystem.

If there are others of like mind maybe we could discuss this off-list and 
report back once progress is made?   I doubt that I will have much time in 
the next few weeks or month to do anything seriously though.
