Hello Ninad,

Have you looked over the information that is available here:

If not I would recommend it as a starting point.

If you have a dedicated Linux system that is preferred over a cygwin 
environment. We only started building on cygwin in the last six months 
to a year and as such have less experience with it.

Once you have downloaded the rpm for brains2 you will need to log in to 
your Linux machine as root to install it (root is the administrative 
user). You will then need to execute the following command to install 
brains2:

rpm -Uvh $BRAINSPACKAGE

where $BRAINSPACKAGE is the name of the brains2 rpm that you downloaded.
