Hi,
I can't help much with this but maybe the problem can be traced. Can you please provide the exact command that produces the problem, including the random seed?

A different choice of seed typically eliminates this error. Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine why some seeds (e.g. starting particle position configurations) yield this error, while others do not. Thus, I have no way of knowing in advance when this error may occur. If anyone has encountered a similar problem, could you please tell me - what is (on a fundamental level) meant by the failure "to correctly amend step" and what solutions may be available?
