Hi Donald,
I've had a closer look at the data and they appear to be storing it
using this new 'multi-frame' encoding in the DICOM standard.
ftp://medical.nema.org/medical/dicom/Multiframe/RSNA05-EnhCTMR-DemonstrationF.pdf
The pixel data is in a 3D format, and the individual slice parameters
(eg Image Position (Patient)) are stored in data tag (5200, 9230)
Per-frame Functional Groups. Some of the other tags, such as (0028,
1053) Rescale Slope, have moved to within the tag (5200, 9229) Shared
Functional Groups.
I'll upload an example dataset to DropBox.
