[Mrtrix-discussion] Streamtrack segmentation fault

Hi Gilad,
Yes, your OpenGL implementation is only version 1.1, and doesn't support
the operations that MRView will perform, hence the crash. I'm surprised
you're using the generic Microsoft software renderer. Essentially this
means your graphics card is either extremely basic, or you're missing the
drivers for it - unless you're running within a virtual machine, in which
case this would be expected, and as already mentioned in previous posts on
this mailing, not supported for this reason. In any case, the only way to
fix this is to get a decent version of OpenGL working, which I can't help
you with. That said, OpenGL is the industry standard for high-performance
graphics, and OpenGL 1.3 has been standard on desktop computers since 2001
(even my not-so-recent laptop happily runs OpenGL 3.3). There should plenty
of help online on how to get this to work.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Donald.
