[Mrtrix-discussion] Significance of number of fibers in CSD

Hi mrtrixers,

With deterministic tractography the number of fibers can be measured for a
tract, and even compared for asymmetries between hemispheres.

Is it possible to make a similar evaluation with CSD? For example, if I
want to check whether the left arcuate is smaller than the right arcuate,
is it possible to extract a measure from CSD?

My thoughts go for the ratio generated/selected fibers, or generate the
same number 100,000 and check how many are in my tract. But your advise
could be more precise on the validity if these measures.

Thank you.
