Recovering lost files
Dear all,

for some reason, my conn_project01.mat file was not saved, and now i can not recover the project. The folder conn_project01 does contain the data and results folders, only it seems the .mat file is old and was not updated. There is also a conn_project01.m file there, but I get an error message when I try to load it.

Any ideas? I would hate having to redo all steps again...

RE: Recovering lost files
Dear Clas,

Please let me know more details about the specific error messages that you get when loading the conn_project01.mat file. There are in fact several "auto-recovery" options automatically built-in in CONN in case your conn*.mat file is not up to date or if CONN is abruptly ended without saving (e.g. if you close SPM it force-closes all windows including CONN), so it may be possible to regain access to your project, but it depends on the particular scenario.

RE: Recovering lost files

Hi Alfonso

I am facing a similar problem, where my conn project abruptly ended without saving during smoothening step. After re opening the project in conn I am not able to see the smoothened files that were done for few subjects, eventhough they are visible in the data folder. This happened twice. Could you please suggest a way to recover the conn project file and get it upto date with the gui, as I do not want to run the smoothening again, only to be terminated again halfway.

Eagerly awaiting your response.

Thankyou
