Open Science Gala at OHBM 2015 Posted By: Cameron Craddock - Jun 11, 2015Tool/Resource: C-PAC Ladies and Gentleman, The Neuro Bureau is excited to invite you to the sixth annual “Open Science Gala” (http://neurobureau.projects.nitrc.org/ho...) - a social event that will be held during the OHBM conference in Honolulu on Monday, June 15th, from 8:30 until late. Now in it's 6th year, the annual Neuro Bureau Gala celebrates data sharing initiatives and encourages open collaboration. Located at Hawaiian Brian’s (http://hawaiianbrians.com/), which is a short 5 minute walk from the conference center, this year's gala will follow the OHBM Postdoc/Student social and will feature the 2015 Brain Art Competition Award ceremony (http://www.neurobureau.org/brainart/), as well as live music, free billiards and celebrations. Come early and receive a ticket at the door for a FREE drink. Gala Schedule: 7 pm - OHBM Postdoc/Student Social 8:30 pm - General admission 10:30 pm - Brain Art Competition Award Ceremony * A band and DJs will play throughout the night. This is a non-profit event held in collaboration with the Organization for Human Brain Mapping's Student and Postdoc Special Interest Group that is jointly sponsored by OHBM and the Child Mind Institute (http://childmind.org)..
