Hi Hazel,
Matlab crashes are often associated with either graphic-card, network, or java memory-management issues. Could you give me more details about your particular setup? (operating system, whether you are connecting remotely to a server or operating locally, whether your data is stored locally or remotely, at what point exactly the error shows up, and whether it occurs replicably or somewhat randomly). Also see this post (https://www.nitrc.org/forum/message.php?... ) for some additional suggestions, in case any of those help in your particular case.
