Hi Gabriella,
Because you are using data from a GE scanner I don't think you will be able to work with Dicoms. The code was written based on the header information of a Siemens Tim trio and some of the information seems to be different.
How did you create the NIfTI?
ps: Are you still experiencing the problem of your other forum post? I have not seem that before and it looks like it is a microsoft related error, are you using windows 8?
